Attachments & Photo directories

Is it possible to change the default directories for photos and attachments to lie on a different server, I have tons of space on another server, but SMF does not work well on Servage.net [nofollow], so I am hosting the forum on a more stable server, but space & bandwidth is limited.

Any help will be appreciated

As there needs to be the ability to save on that server, you can do something like an NFS mount and then point the attachments directory and URL to that server.

This basically requires a dedicated or VPS hosting plan and the ability to do NFS, which usually doesn't work well across the public internet.

The general idea is that you need to make it so the other server looks like a directory on the forum host for this to work.

I've heard that SMF has some issues with Servage although I thought these could still be worked around?
