[Help] Creating mark/unmark topic as "favorite" link

Hello,

I haven't been here in a while and I am still using SMF 1.1.1.

On the display.*php page I want to add the option for any admin to mark/unmark a topic as favorite.

I am not very familiar with SQL so I would appreciate any help on how to do this, what code to add and where. I suppose I'll have to add a new field to one of my SQL SMF tables, but I don't know where and don't know what.
