Error in Package Installation
At least one error was encountered during a test installation of this package. It is strongly recommended that you do not continue with installation unless you know what you are doing, and have made a backup very recently. This error may be caused by a conflict between the package you're trying to install and another package you have already installed, an error in the package, a package which requires another package that you don't have installed yet, or a package designed for another version of SMF.

An Error Has Occurred!
You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!

According to the SMF Mod site, clickable images bbcode isn't compatible with SMF 2.0 anyway, so you shouldn't attempt to install it. It is designed for SMF 1.1.5.

But we suppose he's using 2 because this is the 2.x support?

H

If you're actually using 2.0 you'll have to use the more long winded method until the mod is updated

Fastmail (e-mail)
Linode (VPS)

I think the url img is much easier actually. Installing mods manually is a big pain.

It's already been posted that you can't use this mod with SMF 2.x, but can I ask how you tried to install it?  Via direct download from inside package manager, or download to computer and then use that file to install?
