No, (It will NOT work SMF 1.x - and I don't intend to make one for it. The reason is that changes in 2.x made it easier to write with alot less edits.)

As far as I am aware, this is the only bump mod.

Unfortunately, you are correct there Karl.
Us 1.x.x users must sit and watch, as the others which use a version compatible for this mod, seemingly mock us with their bump topic mod installed

Excited I was to see this mod up, and all its offerings, then to see it wouldnt/couldnt work for 1.x.x almost broke my heart! lol

Nah nice mod Karl   Its a shame 1.x.x aint in the books, but thats understandable.
Its good to see when smf2 goes gold/stable, this mod will be sitting there waiting.

The closest I could find to this, is Dragooons "double post stopper", if 1.x.x are interested.

Can this mod be set for admins only in the permissions area or is anyone besides guests allowed to bump?

Not that I am aware of at the moment. I recently undertook the updating of the mod and will get back to you. I have been very busy the last couple weeks and have not had much time to look into it really. I have it setup in a local but see now way to do that. I will see if I can include that in the update

You should also consider upgrading your forum to the RC1 because there have been several security updates since beta 3.1.

I am using RC1. I will wait for your new release before installing cause I don't want just any member bumping topics. Should be allowed to set which member groups can bump topics. Keep me posted!

this is a very useful mod that most board owners would love to have, only downfall is that its only
for version 2 of the forums, just hope one day that there will be one for 1.1.9.

does anyone have any clue's if there is one in the making yet for 1.1.9 ?

I am almost finished with updating another mod I have been working on and hopefully will be starting this one tomorrow sometime. Shouldnt take long to finish will post back when I am done. Sorry its taken so long but life has been hectic.

Ok, here's an update. I got it working on the 2.0 RC1.2 and should have it out in a week or so as long as I do not run into problems testing.

Ok the new version is now on the mod site. The new version is for 2.0RC1.2 only and still has no admin settings at this time. I plan to add the admin settings for membergroup permissions but will most likely not add this until 2.0 goes final.

This mod will make some forums go really strange.
In my case I lost posts and topics and I was unable to sort by date any more and all topics were in reversed date.
