Won't install via admin center! What is wrong?

Can you describe what happens when you try to install a language pack in the admin panel? Do you get errors? Because the feature is new to 2.0 it is more likely to have bugs associated with until it is properly tested by the community, beta testers and developers.

Now something happened, but the result ended up just the same no errors, no nothing just a blank page!

This time I go up the files with a couple of columns and I don't understand if I need to make them writeable or not. I feel completely useless and wish I've never started with this new forum of mine

So you went to Language section, searched for the language you wanted.  Clicked install.  It then brought up the listing of the files in the pack.  You then selected/deselected what you didn't want and clicked install.  Then it should install and let you know.

What was the version of your 2.x forum and the language pack you are trying to install?

I'm trying to install Swedish and I'm using the SMF 2.0 Beta 3 Public version of SMF, today I tried again but when I click install my page just turns blank. I've been looking for a language pack for the version of SMF I'm using but cannot seem to find it.

I don't believe the swedish language package has been updated for SMF 2.0 yet.

The 1.1 packages will not work for 2.0

Well you access new languages via AdminCP->Server Settings->Languages=>Add Language.  You can 'blank' search and it will show you all the currently available language packs for SMF 2.x  You will notice Swedish is there, but it's still at the BETA 2.1 stage.  I'm not sure if that's fully compatible with 3.1p, but that is the place to look.

I take it you were downloading and trying the Package Manager for your language installations?
