That is also part of EasyPHP.You simply add the default values:

MySQL server name: localhost
MySQL username: root
MySQL password:

The password is empty, no need for one, since its just locally on your machine.

You need to have database login details..they are separate from ftp login details.

No, just use "localhost" there too..and of course the name of database + user/pass. But its different for diff. systems. You really should have all this info already as part of your host plan ( or as docs if you run your own) though....

Yes, PLEASE.
I also love this theme and have accidentally upgraded to 1.1RC2 without realizing this would effect my forum. Features and Options or server Settings in the admin panel are no longer accessible.

Do you plan on an upgrade anytime soon or have any suggestions on how I can remedy my problem.
Thank you in advance.

Dont worry guys, Bloc is still busy to build. There many other themes from Bloc. I understand about it. Tiny Portal is great. Please be patient :)

Same thing happened when I tried to use the older version with 1.1RC2.  Will the RC1 version of this theme work with RC2?  I have not seen another theme that offered these same features and would love to be able to use it.

Out of interest, for those who have upgraded to RC2 with Simplicity. Does it have any other bad effects other than in the Admin section?

If not, you could change temporarily to the default theme when you wanted to change admin settings and then switch back. I've done that with some mods that don't work with Simplicity.

Here is a really strange situation.

I have the same version of SMF 1.1RC2 running on two servers.  On one simplicity for RC1 works just fine.  On the other, the theme installs, but only appears as the default theme.

Ideas??

The one where I really want to use the theme is the site where it's not working.

There are no differences between the set ups except that one site was loaded fresh with RC2 while the other was an upgrade.

probably you've got missing sql ID for theme after upgrade.

Simple solution you can try:
go to admin panel and theme section. Delete all themes except default. Don't worry, it won't delete the files. After that, try to reinstall Simplicity theme by writing the old simplicity directory, not upload the new package.

Btw, all mods I've installed using Simplicity need to write manually by modifying to this theme. Everything fine. As long you know what code will injected from mods to the default theme.

I like this Simplicity, because need less bandwidth than TinyPortal (I thought) :)
Even not flexible as TP, the Simplicity has ability (simple way) to look like TP.

enjoy...

Thanks.  I'm not sure I understand though.  I tried deleting the theme (from the SMF theme page --not actually deleting from the server) and then reinstalling it, but it did not work.

What is the missing sql ID?

All of the other themes I've used for this board work.  Simplicity is the -only- one I can not use (and ironically, it's the one I really want.   :(  )

It's hard to figure out any options since it is working on my other forum just fine.

Why does it show the default board?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!!

The theme does not really work well on RC2, although it seems so - that may explain the strange behavior. I will see if i can get it updated during the upcoming weekend...easter is always quiet. :)

destalk

I don't suppose you had a chance to do this?  ;)

bloc

No..I never learn to not promise anything.. :P

I know the feeling. No worries. :)

Just interested. Is there any real problem with using RC2 with this them? Is it just cosmetic issues, or will it all crash horribly?
