it can't test extracting files.  if you didn't get a read warning header, then you should be able to install it

omg i just tryed to ask for solution but i dont see any!
first i installed 1.1.5 then that didnt work
then asked for help...(solution? none..)
i installed 2.0 public beta 3 same problem ( solution? none...)
now im installing 1.1.6 solution? none same problem here

+ no temp removal dont work..... i install it but dont work the temp is self deleting.

The 1.1.6 patch was just released, so mod authors will have to update their packages to install on 1.1.6 setups except specific SMF versions were not defined in the package-info.xml file of the packages.

Temp. Solution
Package Manager -> Browse tab ->
When you have this in your brower
http://myforum.com/index.php?action=packages, change the URL  to
http://myforum.com/index.php?action=packages;version_emulate=1.1.5.

Change 1.1.5 to version of SMF the mod was developed for, this will fool the package manager thinking that you're running that version and will allow you install the package.

We are all volunteers here. If you didn't get replies to support queries you posted, bumping them after a day is fine. You're probably not getting replies because the readers are finding it hard to understand you. It took me some time to understand one of the other topics you started.

its the host thats the problem!!!
i was running perfecly on funpic.de, but thay got forced pop ads and that was so frustruating, so i was searching servers and searching and when  i ask here for 1 good server you point me 3 times in same thread where 4 free servers are.. 1 closed, 1 you need to post 60 times in month, 1 is not free!!110mb..... and 1 have forced ads and you need to pay for free ad pages + lol not for whole time when you pay..
but to 1000 free ad pages listing then you got ads back pff......
i understand its hard to find but i tryed to search, i was searching for whole 2 months.
it dont have to have many mb space, even if its with 300mb min. but to suport smf files
and to not have any pop ups or top banners or botom.... mby text links or frames are ok but banners omg...  if you dont understand the text again :/ point me back to the 4 servers thread... i tryed to find good server... after all it seems i have to pay for the one...

Free Hosting plans are not really the best, many of them try to frustrate you to go for a paid plan.
It's just a way of attracting more customers, I'd also suggest that you pay for one, see the board linked at the other thread. With a good host, you would run an SMF forum hassle free.

Yes, that's possible. However, not recommended by me.
I really think you should get a reliable Host that has everything to run your forum without issues.

see places like our own hosts and hosting board, webhostingtalk, webmastersworld, etc.  you can find good information on hosting there .

files extracted can't be tested.  You either extract them or you don't, pretty much.  If they don't return an error condition, then all should be well there.

guys thanks for your help i overreacted a bit(i havnt sleep for 1 week )
im back at funpic.de it gives me 2.5gb and unlimited bandwidth
mods are runing perfecly and no errors at error log

but i have thinking wille searching..


is it posible safemod on to be problem for not installing mods?

I doubt it would work with safe mode on. 

Safe mode should generally be avoided anyhow, in my experience.  With proper setup, servers can be more secure than a server in safe mode

well for users who dont want to pay i suggest to take funpic it have little frustruation pop up but if you list or entering fast in 1 page to another that wont be a problem but if you stay 5-10 sec on same page then that shows up

I'm having a problem installing mods too. I created a temp directory and the mods seem to install very well.
The only problem is, the features (Shop mod, and custom actions mod) won't show up in the admin panel. How can I fix this?
