Turn on the calendar on. Problem solved. Currently I'm testing portals and upgrading themes for SMF 2.
1.1.x isn't high on my list of priorities. I expect people to customise the menus anyway so really I don't think this is a huge deal.

It works. Use it. If you want it changed, change it.

I'll tell you what is a big deal though: I just checked some of the sites in your sig.
You've removed the theme copyright from Mystic Multi at http://emarketinghub.net/
You are not allowed to do that. The original copyright with the original linkbacks is part of the theme release.

You now have a nice little copyright saying "Designed by Tech Prince". Funny. I don't remember you working on the theme when I was putting it together. Your designing appears to be limited to changing the on and off gifs and installing a portal via the package manager.

How about you reinstate the original copyright? That'd be a nice touch.

ETA: Before providing any future support to anyone I will require a link to the site where they are running the theme. If the copyright has been removed they will get zero support. If anyone wishes to add their name to the copyright that is fine (as in "Modified by _ _ _ _ _ _"), but removing credits is not cool. If you wish to do this please ask first and be prepared to make a good case for it.

On its way. There were a few things to get my head around.

Ummm..........

What? I do have other things to do in my life apart from make themes, and 2b4 themes are substantially different to 1.1.x themes, and I don't run 2b4 on my own site which is, let's  face it, the first priority.

I'll do one and it'll probably be done in the next couple of weeks since I have decided to upgrade my site fairly soon. There is a bit of work in it though and I'm doing my other theme first (because I use that as site default).

Edit, figured it out, it needs tp-forum to link.

New version of the theme for 2.0 RC1-1 is now available. Has several improvements including two more colours, better graphics all round, cleaner coding and drop menus that now work in IE6 (if anyone cares about IE6). Check the first post in this thread for more information.

The 1.1.x version of the theme is no longer available and has been removed. Kthnx.

Great work Antechinus, any idea if this plays nicely with SimplePortal?

Antechinus

Haven't tried it but it should be fine. None of the 2.0 portals require theme edits so they should be good with any theme.

Indeed it does and its working great with SimplePortal... I'm chuffed to bits with the new look and feel of v2.0 and Mystic Multi thanks!!

I'm having trouble getting my logo to stick though, I have it on one of the variants but as soon as I change to another colour the logo disappears? sorted!

Antechinus, I'm finding the colour variant is lost between sessions, is it possible to make the theme variants stick following selection from the home page rather than having each user dig into their look and feel settings?

Thanks :)

Antechinus

Apparently it's possible but I haven't had time to test the code yet. Been working on Curve. ;)

I'll take a look at it over the weekend and if it works I'll post the code for you and update the theme.
