I'm using SMF 2.0 RC1.2 and also have SimplePortal 2.3 RC1. I've uploaded  Hack's Park Shoutbox 2.0 and it looks good - works with all the themes brilliantly.

The only problem seems to be the buttons which as you can see aren't displaying properly.

Also, can someone tell me how to get the shoutbox to display on all of the forum pages rather than just on the  main page. Thank you.

When you say you want a screenshot Les Paul - do you mean you want the whole page rather than the attachment I added?

Did you check if files exists in images folder? (ie. $imagesurl/bbc/sound.gif)

There is not a way to auto show Shoutbox in all pages, you must add the pages where you want it to show. The codes to do it here:

I added an attachment with the fixed file, it's not an installer, so you have to upload it manually to $themedir/default.
Upgrade to Shoutbox 2.0.1 before uploading this file.

Tell me if problem persists, I already test Shoutbox on IE8, and looks perfect, but one never know...

I'll make Shoutbox 2.0.2 once we know if this completly solve the bug

Ok so I have several of issues and if anyone can help please reply or send me a message. My forum: www.sc2gateway.com

1) Guests can't see the shoutbox. Even when you click the arrow on the right all it shows is that clock on the top left corner and that's it.

2) There is a small white dot underneath the shoutbox. When I disable the shoutbox that dot disapears. What is it?

3) I made the font color be white by default. When people type in the text field the letters are black, but when they click enter they are white. When they change the font color on the right, you can see the text within the textfield. How do I make the text field be white letters by default as well.

Hello boys... I have a small problem.

Running SMF 1.1.9
shoutbox 2.0.1
theme Class V1

I can see the shout box sitting at teh bottom of my forum, cursor there, allows me to type but on send the text doesn't appear in the messages box... it vanishes! 

A small clock appears in the top left of the message box momentarily.... but no messages... no smilies... nada.

Any ideas?
