Stop spamming that is pretty annoying :S

Plus you already know that this mod was almost dead when I asked for it, I don't know what was the problem with it I was just kidding I won't make a pro version, I mean this mod has almost all the features that a Shoutbox needs, it only needs to be up to date, anyway good luck with this project if you need an official website please let me know it :)

See ya

Wait, it DOES work with RC2? Because i get errors when i try and install it. Im using the Raven theme.

yeah, u have to manually install it, it isnt hard, most of the mod are new files that you need to copy, and a few modifications to your forum files

glad to know you're back, been dying to upgrade to RC3, but i love your shoutbox way too much ^^

How do i go about getting this to display on my Portal page? It installed fine but it only displays on my Board Index....i need it to be displayed as a side block on my Portal page, can this be done?

[PT]Snake

btw, you might want to make a "submit" button for you shoutbox, to make it compatible with non-flash (ipod, iphone and so on) browsers

Hi, everybody

I have a question to ask.

I'm using SMF board version 1.1.11, I had installed this shoutbox.
But last 2 weeks my board was attacked by malware or something else, I tried to fix the problem several times, and now seems to be quite stable already.
The only problem left is that the shoutbox is not working, it keeps loading with the "clock icon".
I tried to uninstall and install the same shoutbox again, or event delete the database and create it again, but it still doesn't work.

How can I solve this problem?

Many thanks for every reply

Regards,
Touu

it is not working on IE :O maybe there is something wrong with my IE8. just want to make it sure that it works perfectly on IE8.
and some suggestions for upgrade

it must show number of active users
and it must have an option to have a separate chat wit a user ... like private chat...

then this will be the best mod... i have seen a shoutbox on a IPB board which has those functions.. but that one is too ugly and this is pretty.. i like it a lot

[PT]Snake

no private chat man, this is a shoutbox, it should be a simple chat system...
adding crap to it would just make things worse and be an overall pain in the ass.

Keep it simple. Work on the compatibility (submit button, as i said above) with all the major browsers, the rest is awesome the way it is.

ONLY thing i would change? Support for BBCode instead of the buttons. i'd remove then and just keep the emoticons/smileys and the said submit button.

working on the IE8 problems, also Opera 10.5, for some reason it works for me in IE8, but not opera 10.5, so i have to fix that.

about users online, and private messaging, i think those arent shoutbox functions, that would be a chat, and this mod wasnt meant to be one

submit button added :P, now working on compatibility, this is a major problem, IE sucks xD, and the buttons, ill leave them the way they are, i think its annoying to use bbcode :P

you should've waited.

Me? I upgrade first on another forum (backed up), make sure everything checks out, and THEN upgrade the main one
