Banned user using proxy to rejoin

Any ideas how i can keep a user from using a proxy from registering again? I banned him the other day and he's back.

is there any type of mod that can prevent users from using proxies?

Im sure it would be difficult because of all of the proxies in use.


any suggestions?

I just may have to lock down a certain board.

No way unless you know all the proxies as you said. You can use a .htaccess file to block them out. I have yet to see a banned user so determined to return to my forum. They usually give up after a few tries unless they really want something from your forum or are determined enough to play this game.

Yeah, that's what i thought. oh well.  I'll be using the TOPIC LOG mod quite a bit.
