Hi,

I have website with smf forum and I try to use name of logged user on script which is not connected to smf (but on the same website). How can I do this?

For example:
(1) I logged in to my smf forum as "user81"
(2) I go to main page of my site "main.php"
(3) main.php script of my website print html page with text "Welcome user81 !"

How can I do this without cookies?

One possible method would be to call your SSI.php. Use the ssi_welcome(); function. :)

This should really be in SMF Coding Discussion
