see the link tree in 2b4 how i change the colour of the links

Take a look at the linktree function (in 1.1.x it is in index.template.php, I assume it hasn't changed in 2.0).

If the theme you're using hasn't given the linktree div a specific class (I don't think there is one by default) you'll need to add one, and then you'll be able to set the colours in CSS
