Revert to SMF 1.1.8

Is there a way to revert my database to SMF 1.1.8? My server doesn't like certain settings with SMF 2.0RC1, and my administrator uses 1.1.8 with no issues. Besides, theres more mods for it.

Only way to do this is if you use a backup and restore it. This is a major upgrade and is usually a one way process.

Well that stinks, guess i'm re-creating my forum as 1.1.8. lol Its not like its thousands of posts, and we only have like 6 active users.

lol I don't even know, but apparently its been loading up the server's CPU. My host asked me to switch to an earlier version. Honestly, I just don't like RC1 because as SMF states, its not a stable build. I honestly, need to get more stability, the site was small when I started it but now its getting bigger again, and I need something that can handle it so I'm backtracking to 1.1.8. I don't wanna go to something else cause bleh lets face it, im a charter member  here. :-P

SMF 2.0 RC1 should be pretty stable at this stage now. It's out of beta and many users have upgraded to it already without any performance issues.

Do you have any mods installed? The forum should run fine out of the box unless there was a problem with some mod or a manual code change that was made.
