This mod is compatible with 2.0 RC 1.2; I am using it right now on two forums. Yes and no, the easiest way to go about this with Version 2.0 is when you install the mod for the first time, it will list out all the actions to be taken on a test page. In version 2.0, if you look at the bottom of the list of mod actions in the test page (right after you click apply mod), you will see a bar with a + sign and the words that read something along the lines of "Install in other themes". Click the + button and choose the theme you wish to install the mod to.

If that doesn't work, or there are test errors in that theme, the manual way will still work just fine.

Installed again.  Fine, but test errors in all themes except default.

Tried to go a select the manual install notes and got the error:

Sorry, but this modification does not appear to be compatible with the selected version.

What next?

I get that all the time with the parser. What I have done here is parsed it for 1.1.10 and the link for that can be found HERE. Since you are just modding the index.template.php file, you should be fine this way.

I suggest making backups of your files before manually modding them, just in case. I cannot guarantee that this will work, but I have never had problems manually modding files this way.

Sorry, I am a little confused. There are so many versions of the same mod. Which one is the right version for smf 1.1.11 and which is for 2.0 RC3.

thks, so I uploaded V 3.1 into my forum (smf 1.1.11) and I still see nothing at the footer. Put in the HMTL code in admin. 
No errors while uploading ... but nothing shows.

aha, there's the problem

the mod installs only in Old Default "Core" theme, for others you have to install it manually ,
please refer to manual installation of mods link in my signature

I've tried downloading this a few times.  Each time it says it's successful, and when i click install i get this error:

An Error Has Occurred! Unable to find package file!

Any ideas why?

try downloading to your pc, and then use upload, the direct download doesn't work on all hosts
