Cool Idea JBlaze

I use SimplePortal 2.1.1 and the mod appears to work just fine in IE but in fire fox it is showing up vertically (hard left) and at the bottom of the page and not docked at bottom of the browser window.

Any Thoughts?

Hmmm...   on a barebones 1.1.9 systyem with no other mods installed I get this when trying to install:

Installing this package will perform the following actions:

It could be reducing your page load speed, but keep in mind, this is still a beta. All the kinks havent yet been worked out

But there is a main problem: flvs, swfs and javascripts are overlapping the bar when they scroll over it.

found this happens with the google member map....

Adding  z-index: 1;  to the style sheet fixed the google map prob I was experiencing.
Im not sure if it will help with all your stated probs though.

i would not be maybe so much support private chat that is available really easilly... people do not realease HOW many people start to chat whit each other then instead of posting (information to everyone) that is forum main function.

If it will be available would be cool if it can be turned off by mod or allowed only by admin defined user-groups

But yeah.. as soon RC2 releases i will start to use all this whit PortaMX in full power on my new psychedelic site

Different themes will not be affected by this mod right?

I agree with you about a chat on a forum. They do take away from members posting, bit some feel they need a chat on their site.

There are going to be many options for this mod when completed, so keep an eye out.

And, no, different themes will not be affected. It uses the same basic elements for styling that all themes share.

i  tried installing this on my custom theme got error in index.template.php tried to do manual edit but i wasn't able to find <body>'; in index.template.php to edit should i attach my index.template.php so u can have a look?

Hello,

I think this is an an excellent mod and comes in very handy especially on long topics / pages.

However I'm having problems in having it displayed in a row on the right bottom of my page. In Firefox it works fine but under IE it gets scrambled, see attached screenshot.

I'm using the following css code:
