Oh i forgot that some server don't allow the tgz extension ... so i replaced the file with a tar.gz extension.
Rename it if to filname.tar.gz and it should work...

Okay if you have no luck installing it on your version, check that you have the 'package-info.xml' file inside the compressed file, thats what i did to make it work. I hope that the mods maker with change this.

Is this located any where in a .zip file? These blasted .tar.gz files no matter what they are always get corrupted on me. It may be better compression but not worth a squat when they don't work for ya.

dude they are not corupt. Simply download the archive for your version, if it says it doesnt work, download a different version, take the pack-info.xml file from it then put it in the version you need for your version of SMF.

I hope the maker of the mod will hurry and add the package info because this is bound to annoy people.

Well thanks for the try. Still dose not work. I'm done trying with this one. I'll just wait for the 1.1 final to do any more Mod adding. maybe the package manager will be better.

At least with SMF when I remove a messed up Mod it dose not corrupt my forum like phpBB always did with me. So that is a plus!
