Denying guests the ability to see recent posts

I have searched for this, and not found anything.

I run a board that is supposed to be totally private.  Yet, when a guest clicks on the link to "View the most recent posts" at the bottom, they can read posts in boards they cannot see (which is any boards, actually).  Guests can also see Top-level forums/boards.  I would like to disable this as well, so that guests basically can only see the login box, SMF logo, and maybe the news box.

I may just not know how to ask the question right for search, if this has been answered.

Do you have guest access turned off?

Admin -> Features and Options -> Allow guests to browse the forum (uncheck)
