Well as you can see with cache emptied everything to do with it inside database removed its still there.




I have just installed it again on local host and it's put the copyright in there twice now.

I have installed this on my 2.0 forum and is great as all ways...

Just 1 problem so far, Hidden Items within Quotes are not displayed correctly for me.

NOTHING is shown in the Quote, Not the HIDDEN TEXT or the Actual content.

Works like a charm everywhere else though.....

Never mind, I just realized that the mod is working as Intended / Designed.

All text from the Start and including the [hide] tag to the end of [/hide] tag are removed when the Quote is copied into the post box. This makes sense as not doing so would allow folks to wread hiddent content by just creating temp New post with the Relevant post as a quote.


However, Would it be possible to modify the code responsible so that it Inserts the "Hidden Text" info in-place of what it removes.

Oh, I see what you mean now, I just assumed that the replacement text, within the options would be in a quote, I guess it would only take a little code change to include the hidden text replacement within a quote

This is actually a good idea and I dont really want it changing.

I remember when using proboards people would bypass the hidden txt by either disabling java or just using the quote to view the hidden txt....I don't think it's the same in smf but I the mod is working how I wanted it to work for me anyway.

This mod does not actually hide the text, it just "does not display it", technically there is a difference, that's why the mod works so well.
