You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or on

I had a few problems earlier so I have re-installed SMF.

I now get this error.......

You cannot download or install new packages because the Packages directory or one of the files in it are not writable!



Any ideas?

Is it only one certain package you cannot install..or is it a whole bunch you can't install?

I don't know whats happened but it all works fine now.

Last night before bed it wouldn't work. I got up this morning, tried again and it worked........

I think I've had the same issue before, it just needed a little refresh
