It seems I found an error when trying to post. This is 1.1, im assuming it's the latest version?

unexpected '{' in Sources/Post.php  (mine was on line 1859)
censorText{$row['nowPlaying']);

Your opening parenthesis is actually a bracket :P

I wonder why no one else got this error.

Same error here, changed to a parenthesis

It installs fine for me but the little image doesn't show...

Any ideas?

Fixed now, the mod didn't install the cd image properly.

Weird... Not sure why it didn't extract cddisc.gif - are you sure your images folder was writable?

Yeah, it inserted the image 'file' but not the actual image (if you get what I mean).

I get that error when I try to post a new topic or reply after installing this mod.  Just so you know, I have no other mods installed and I am trying to install it on the classic template.  This is the latest version that I got from the link in the first post of this topic.

Oldiesmann

What version of SMF are you using? I have no clue why that error keeps popping up, but I'm almost positive I had fixed that by now. I suggest just uninstalling it for now and I should have a new version available within the next couple of days.

Is there anyone able to help me with this mod a little please .
Im trying to install it for a different theme that i use and i dont know how  to edit the mod files to change from ( example : $themedir/Profile.template.php )

How can i replace the "$themedir" with the theme name of the theme that i wanna install on .

If someone can offer me this little support i will be really greatfull . Thank You .

Oldiesmann

Just install the mod first.

Next, go back to the package manager, click on "List Files" next to that mod and take a look at the included "help.txt" to get an idea of how the xml format works. Next, go back to the files list and click on either "modification.xml" or "modification_b3p.xml" depending on which version of SMF you're using (note: a version for 1.1 RC1 will be available soon). Then look at all the theme modifications and make those changes to your theme(s) as needed. The code to look for might be slightly different in your theme than what I have there, but you should still be able to figure it out.

Thank you anyway , but that havent help me at all  , and im sure that will not help anyone else the same.

My question and problem was that " is is possible to replace the "$themedir" variable with a different source for the theme by any other way thant "$themedir" variable ? because that variable change and apply mods just for the default theme from smf , and im sure that there are not many ppl that use the default theme .

Thank You .

Oldiesmann

$themedir is the path to the default theme. If you want to replace that variable with the path to another theme, that's fine, but there's no guarantee it will work since the code might be different in that other theme.

Hi, using v1.0.5 I get the same error and the following if I try to reply to, quote or modify the original post:

Parse error: parse error in Sources/Post.php on line 1767

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: gettopic() in Sources/Post.php on line 770

There is the possibility to get these informations automatically from audioscrobbler and  put them to the signature :

Example: Take a look at my signature

I've recently moved up to RC1.1 which I know isn't sorted yet for the mod but it seems that there are bits of the old mod still hiding somewhere as I'm getting loads of forum error logs regarding the Now Playing mod. Is that because it can't pick up the info that should appear in the posts?

8: Undefined index: nowplaying
File: /home/bluebuz/public_html/buzzards/Themes/default/languages/Arcade.english.php (eval?)
Line: 440

I'm going looking anyway, but just wondered if anyone knew what this was?
