hey guys
i was wondering if anyone can explain the SMF Warning system.
I know someone made a topic about SMF Infraction and responses back were that SMF 2 has Warning System built in.

I thought that was like a user Infraction system...
either way I upgraded from 1.1.10 to RC2, and i dont see anything ive looked around.

can someone tell me where to find it and what smf warning system is ?!

Admin - Core Features - Warning System (should be enabled). After it's enabled: Admin - Security and Moderation - Moderation.

also, how do i add a member to the "Watch List" ?

i see the button to issue "warning based on post"
but how do i add someone to the watch list...

you need to change a warning level for this person.

Norv

In the user's Profile > issue a warning, set it to something like 10% or 30% and you will see it says: "result: user will be added to moderator watch list". As you set a higher level, it will also have the user's posts moderated, or forbid him/her to post altogether.
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.
