Link to Mod

Configures print-page to be a permission instead of always available.

It is available at a per-board level, and configurable by membergroup.

Attempts to install on Curve, Core, Babyon and Classic (if installed) to make the link hidden.

Nice mod Arantor.

How easy could you make the print images option available / configurable as per this post?

Not adding any options like that to this mod; it is literally as it says it is - permission to access print-page.

That said, I *did* write the other function into a mod of its own, http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2340 for when it's approved.

Hi,
does this work with
SMF 2.0 RC3 / PortaMX 0.980 ?

Many thanks.

Regards, Stefan.

Arantor

Stefan, try using the Packages > Browse Packages > Advanced option to use SMF 2.0 RC2 as the version number. I see no reason why that shouldn't work but I'll let the mod's maintainer test it and update it if necessary since it's nothing to do with me any more.

Arantor's solution should work for you until I can update it.

I have an issue with my development laptop which I am already working on getting resolved, however it may be a little.

any chance of getting this to work on 1.11?

Matthew K.

Possibly once I get my laptop up. Definitely will consider it, thanks for your request.

Sorry to bring back an old topic...but I was wondering if a version for 1.1.11 was ever created? This looks like a great mod i would love to add to my forum as I do not like the print page function

Matthew K.

It should be pretty easy to port back.

Arantor

Only that it would require custom edits on almost every 1.1.x theme, but other than that, the code's very similar.

Yeah that is why I was hoping possibly a new version of the mod would be made for the 1.1.11, I'm not the best when it comes to custom edits. I realize there might not be a demand for my version of this mod but figured I'd at least ask :)

Arantor

No matter how this mod is written for 1.1.x, it will require custom edits on any theme with its own Display.template.php and due to the nature of 1.1.x, possibly even having to be rewritten for every 1.1.x theme if the theme deviates too far from the established code.

Hi,

Is this mod still being supported, and if so, any chance of seeing it updated for SMF ver 2.0 Final?

I await your reply.

Thanks in advance,  ;)

Well, it's no big deal to manually install it on a theme if there was a mod available at all. I'd really appreciate a SMF 1.1 version of this mod. So if anybody can help please it would be much appreciated. I guess it can't be that much work?
