profile doesnt work

im using rc2 and when im logged in and click profile, i get

im using smf 2 rc2

i have done the

ALTER TABLE smf_members
ADD pm_receive_from tinyint(4) unsigned NOT NULL default '1';

as suggested in the link

i will try the large upgrade package

not that i know off, i did upgrade the forum from 1.1 to 2.0 4 weeks ago or so.

So you haven't gone into Admin > Configuration > Core Features and enabled Advanced Profile Fields?

no thats off, is the php version important, does it have to be version 5?

No, SMF works on PHP 4 too.

Weird though, because the code in question that's giving you an error is related to the advanced profile fields. Has it ever been on?

Can you go into the database, and take a look at the structure of the custom_fields table and tell me what you find there please?

There should be two more columns, enclose (type 'text', collatie 'latin1_swedish_ci', not null) and placement (tinyint, length 3, attributes unsigned)

What theme are you trying to use? If the default (Curve) theme is shown to guests, does it work then?

Is this issue resolved now? If not, download the Large Upgrade Package again for your version. Upload all the files and overwrite the ones you currently have. You may leave out all the upgrade related files. Try to click on register button again to see if the error returns.
