Couldn't agree with you more, I was so consumed with vbulletin, I loved it.  Now it just has too much stuff on it, it's too complex.  Now since the price is more money I'm dropping the product, moving on to something more affordable and just as good, hopefully SMF can fulfill it!

I have to say I'm loving the slick layouts and all the features of SMF. I cant wait till I can use php with my site right now I'm limited to asp but when I can I'm switching to this.

Glad to hear you like SMF. If/when you attempt to install, there is a lot of documentation and a support board dedicated to just that. So, if you need any help, feel free to take advantage of them.

From my point-of-view, SMF has been the best forum software to meet our needs.  As we are hobos, we have needs that require odd capabilities and SMF has, time and again, met them.  The support has been 5 star; I never waited more than 24hrs (and rarely that long) to get an answer (and generally members on here have actually done the actual work).

Some of my friends use vB for similar applications and when one factors in cost assessment vs. return, SMF can't be beat!

We also use TikiWiki for our Intelligence platform and SMF interacts excellently with it!
