Banner at top

Is there anyway to put a banner at the very top of the index page so it shows at the top of every page. I know there is something called a banner mod I think that will let you put them at the bottom by the footer, but this has to be at the top of every page. Is this possible.

hey man use the SMF software for template changing.. it's pretty cool... I found it here on forums after i was alrady frustrated with changing template my own... it was pain..
but with software it's easy... when I knew what template I want.. I just coded rest on myself...
