How to add Hooks?
I want to add a login button next to my quick login panel on the header of whole forum.
help please

just goto social hooks in fb admin copy the facebook login hook code

and add it in index.template.php where you want it i cant say where cos i dont know the theme you are using if you can attach the index.template.php from your theme?

goto the creat app page

fill in app name and name space
continue to next step
verify your human
continue to next step
scoll down to
Website   I want to allow people to log in to my website using Facebook.
click it then enter your site url
then save it

then grab your app id and secret and enter this in fb admin panel on your site

do not copy and past these as it can add extra spaces in the keys wich will cause the mod not to function prperly

that should get you up and running as this is how i do it with my dev site

as far as I know, all connections to facebook must be https at this point...

It matters how they interact with members, canvas requires https, these are Facebook apps. Other services that work externally from FB do not.

Server to server also needs https(ssl wrappers), this is different from https on the website and really matters on the host.

Dear Sa,

Thanks for the beautiful mod, I was able to use it with http.

but I encountered one small issue, the moment i use facebook connect button it takes me to face book page where in I have to use my facebook user id and password and then it takes back me to my forum where i have to fill in the user details but ideally it should automatically take my facebook user name and password but i have to register again as facebook user.

Same issue with ur twitter mod to.

it is supposed todo this you cant get the users password from facebook plus it prevent two people signing up with the same name
