Enter Email twice on Registration

I am getting a lot of bounced and invalid emails on registration.  I want to have it so users would have to enter their email twice to verify and then return an error if the emails do not match.  Or do the check marks like 2.0 does with the password.

I have seen some code from 1.1.X from back in 2005, but I know the Registartion code has changed significantly since then.

I think this should be a mandatory part of registering in SMF!

Thanks for any help!

Well you have two choices, one you make sure that you have email verification on. Or the best option if you ask me install this MOD.

Very simple to use works with rc2 but you need to emulate to install.

You can mod registration yourself to add email verification but the code has changed a lot since i modded my old smf 1.0 site.

I am having problems with email verification also.  The validation link is not working correctly.

But, if they enter their email wrong in the first place then they do not get the validation email anyway.  It seems to me, like on most forms you fill out today, you enter your email twice to make sure you typed it correctly.

I had this set up on 1.1.9 but of course everything changed when I upgraded to 2.0.

Thanks,
