I've look for smf 2.x "release notes"  to know if smf 1.1.9 version is compatible to (jump) upgrate to smf 2.x
Is there such kind of information for upgrade task ( none in package file).

Use the Large Upgrade. It will let you go to 2.0 RC3 directly from 1.1.9
