This is useful. But your English translation is a little off and took me a few seconds to understand what you really meant.

Yes, my English is poor :(

If you want, you can re-write my English/English-British translate ;) (In this MOD and all my MODs, if you can, of course).

sharks

No problem, i'm happy to be able to help. :) I've sent you a PM so you can explain how to proceed.

Would it be possible to add an option to attribute all guest posts regardless of username or email?

Will this mod allow me to attribute guest posts (made with a particular username/email) to a registered user account?

avepeachy

The problem with the built in feature is that the posts still display as a guest account (albeit with the registered account name), and I want them to be a registered account post.

Arantor

No, the feature in core SMF reattributes the posts properly. I mean, it works just fine given that it's happened to my account in the past.

So I have this mod installed on a forum that's running 2.0.7. I'm trying to reattribute the first post in a topic where the act of an admin editing the original user's post for some reason... attributed it to that admin? I've tried reassigning the post a couple of times -- I've made sure I'm entering the post number, not the topic number, checking the "reattribute to/from registered user" option, and selecting the user I want to reattribute to from the dropdown list that pulls up when I start typing in their username. However, when I click the Reattribute button, I get an empty dialogue box. The page then reloads and says that the post has been reattributed successfully -- except it hasn't. It's still showing up as having been posted by the admin who edited the post.
