Limit number of private messages per member

hello

what about a new feature configurable in the administration panel that allows limited private messages saved in the receiving box and outbox per member ?

eg if you turn 50, and the member will receive a new private message (51), it automatically deletes the oldest private message (number 1 for example)....

What do you think?

The ability to limit how many PMs a user has is already in SMF and has been for some time.

I'd hate it to delete my older ones, particularly without a warning. Instead, I'd prefer it to disallow new ones like it does currently.
