Hello! I am using SMF version 2.0 RC3 for my website. I needed some advice as to how I am supposed to create a custom button in the top menu list of the forum. For example, in this forum, the menu above (right below your Hello <your_username> and the show posts links and date), we have Home-Help Search-Profile-My Messages-Calendar-Members-Logout. What I need is to insert another button in between two buttons within that default list that links to another page. Also, I'd prefer avoiding any coding (since I have minimal experience in the same). So is there any mod package available for this ? Could someone please assist ? Thank you!

-Kamat.

P.S. I have the latest version of TinyPortal Simple Portal installed now... Any way to do this using that ? I was looking around, to no avail...

This mod will do that for you  http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2259
Thank you! :) But apparently that's not compatible with SMF 2.0 RC3 ?

Afro

It is compatible with RC3. JUST roll back to rc2 and install it.

What exactly do you mean by roll back to RC2 ?

When you upload this mod, click on Browse packages. there is a link at the mod list called "Advanced"
click on it, then type in 2.0 RC2. Save it and install the mod.
You can then roll back to your version after that.
