linking forum user databases..

I have multiple forums on differnt sites...

Is their a way I can use just one user database for all 3 sites?

This would really help me alot I was wondering if this is possible in this boards system.

So I guess all I will need to do is create a setup for 2 access points to different parts of my sql.  Or is there a more simple way I can get this done?   I still have not looked into all the sql connection points in the SMF scripts but I plan on going over the source tomorrow..  I just want to make sure I am going in the right direction lol..
