I cannot access the Features and Options section. 
Do I need to reinstall or copy over files again?

I get the following error:

Have you made any modifications?  It looks to me like you have some integration installed or something.

Yes, I am using SMF under Mambo 4.5.2 using the latest com and mod.  Should I be reviewing this with the people who put the com and mod together?

That message means that some modification has been made to bypass SMF's security measures, which is why it says "hacking attempt."

I would upload clean files from the upgrade zip file, if it were me.  You may wish to ask the mod's author if there is a version of the modification which is written properly for 1.1 and its security implementation.

Im really considering upgrading to 1.1 beta. 

I have a ton of mods, and I dont mind losing them.  Do I just add the package then upgrade and go?  Or should I uninstall everything first?

Add the package?

You just upload, and all your packages should be uninstalled, more or less.  You can uninstall explicitly if you like.

^ got it working!   Very smooth upgrade.  I was wondering, I have alot of templates I cannnot use anymore. But they still appear. I dont see the buttons to delete them from the backend.  Is there anyway I can do this in phpAdmin?

SMF 1.1 Beta 4 is unlikely to released to the public. The next release to the public will probably be RC1 in a month or two I'd guess.

You can't. 1.1 Beta 4 is not available to the public. It's a private beta.

New Problem after the update. My users get this error when they try to smite or applaud. Even when they login and logout this still shows up.

An Error Has Occurred!
Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again.

I did exactly what you did with my Zone Alarm Pro but it didn't work.  Gah. It only happens with the Karma.  And only started after the upgrade to beta.

It's because your template is out of date. There is now a session check with karma so the templates have been updated. If you search for karma and session I'll expect you'll find more details.
