How do I set up a board in SMF2 that one member group (not admin) can post and reply in and all others can only reply in? Can't seem to figure out the combination of board and membergroup permissions as a while since I last did this...

Thanks

Add this member to a new regular group.

Now, in Admin -> Boards -> {board} -> Permissions, select all groups (except for the one you just created) and from the drop downs at the bottom of the page, select "Clear Permission" -> Post new topics

Make sure the other group does have permission to post new topics.

No it didn't. That removed all posting permissions on all boards...

I think Oya may be right...

Yeah, I think so too. At least if you use local boardpermissions for more boards. You can add or change the profiles in Admin -> Members -> Permissions -> Edit Profiles.

Sorry for the confusion.
