Hello :)

I am having a big problem with my forum.
When trying to log in, it fails with the message "Invalid password!".
When trying to log in with the same password, it accepts, HOWEVER, when loading a new page, it just logs me out.

Any tips? Can't list my mods because I can't access the Admin panel.

SMF version: 2.0 RC5
Browser: IE (no other's tested)

Cannot empty my forum's cache since I have no Admin Panel access :-\
And I'm not gonna FTP inside the server now since I'm tired :P

Gonna try removing temp. internet files (with Cookies).

Do you change your .htaccess file or change your domain in smf admin -  server settings, before that happens?

NanoSector

I have no .htaccess and no I have not changed paths or URLs.

Should I reupload fresh SMF files? :( (I hate doing that)

I know, trying it now as reuploading fresh files only made it worse.

EDIT: Already empty ???
EDIT2: If I login in IE8 it fails, but in IE9 it logs in but when I click something is logs me out...
EDIT3: IE-only issue. Safari works fine..

Is the favorites' url in IE and Safari the same?
Idk, but apparently SOMETHING's different ::)

Maybe rendering engine matters in this case?

You can empty the forum cache, without going into Admin, Yoshi.

You can see the directory in FTP.

Simply delete all the files therein.
