[FREE] Arcade for SMF RC5

I looked and didn't find any thing. Is there a Arcade mod for SMF RC5

Yes I have and it says that there's an error or is not compatible with the version I'm installing it too.

did you try version emulation? have you read the support thread for that mod to see if people have gotten it to work with rc4 or rc5?

There's only 2 version and not one says any thing about version emulation.

have you tried it yourself? go in the package manager click the advanced link put in the version the mod says it works with save the change then try to install the mod.

Nope. I still get this error.

The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.

have you downloaded the correct version for rc5 you will need this one  SMF_Arcade_2.5_RC1_Public.zip and you will need to install in emulation mode.

to do this ...in package manager at the bottom click advanced  in the box that as the version number etc change it to   SMF 2.0 RC3 then click apply now go back to package manager and you should be able to install it,i have never had any problems doing it this way.

I tried as OZZIE suggested, but got the following error:

      1.    Add Before    ./Sources/ManageSettings.php    Test failed

I have no idea on how to code, so was wondering whether anyone could advise please.

I wish I have a sample image to show you. Any way. all the way to the left. There's an image. If you click on that image to the left of the error. It will show you what to find and what to add, replace and so on. Use your php editor or notepad.exe to edit the file. Press Ctrl F and a search box opens up.

In that box type or paste the line you need to search for. Then copy the code you need to add, replace and so on. and add it to the file. Then save it and upload it to the web server. After doing this. You will have to force the install. Since the change you needed was all ready fixed. and you shouldn't have any problems. If you still need some help. Just ask.

I was playing some of them. and the only thing I don't like are the ads they added to them. or may be that couldn't be helped. I just don't like the idea that every time some one wants to play a game. They have to watch a ad. and it sucks.

it is not as simple as that joe most games do not have ad's ,but due to the need for newer games people are converting newer games and unfortunatally the come with the ad;s embedded in the flash coding you are not the only one who does not like them ,
hopefully some off the coders will come up with a way to remove them but until then we just need to put up with it..... ( if you want games with no ad's try looking at my site and download yourself some)

Hey, Your web site is real cool looking. I like that. Your right. The idea is that we need to find some one who can edit the flash and remove the ads. Then again. They work and I hope my users will play them. Thanks OZZIE.

I am not sure if I am in the right thread to do this, but I have installed all of the games, and the majority of them have an error when I try to submit the score.

Examples: Discoracer, Dolphindash
