Login Redirects to Site Home Page

When my members login, the froum redirects to the sites homepage instead of the forum homepage (forum main screen)
My site is seperate than my forum and forum is located in site.com/forum

What am i doing wrong here?

Do you have a portal?  Are you using SSI.php on your site?

I dont think i use SSI. I dont have a portal.
