But Im getting an error message.. :(

"Error in Package Installation
At least one error was encountered during a test installation of this package. It is strongly recommended that you do not continue with installation unless you know what you are doing, and have made a backup very recently. This error may be caused by a conflict between the package you're trying to install and another package you have already installed, an error in the package, a package which requires another package that you don't have installed yet, or a package designed for another version of SMF."

The test thats failing is:
Execute Modification   ./Sources/Subs-Package.php

I appreciate the help

Thanks

BTW. Im using version 1.1.11 looking to update packages to 1.1.12 so I can eventually get to 1.1.13, or can I go from 1.1.11 to 1.1.13 w/o going to 1.1.12 first? Please forgive my stupidity as I bought this website in January and Im new at this.

When you get an error in a file, you would normally need to update that file manually.  You can display the edits that are required by visiting this link:

http://custom.simplemachines.org/upgrades/index.php?action=upgrade;file=smf_patch_1.0.20_1.1.12.tar.gz;smf_version=1.1.11

Use a text editor like notepad++ to edit the file.

This is usually caused by a mod that has modified the code that the package manager is trying to modify.

You can go from 1.1.11 to 1.1.13 by using the large upgrade.  If you do that you will need to reinstall all mods as that entails overwriting all your forum files.
