no forum access

Greetings, I am the admin of a forum I created using smf. It appears that I cannot access this forum using my ip address. I can access this site only using alternate ip / proxy. Tried disabling my software firewall / router firewall and tried again with no success.
Ping requests show no problems, responds are normal. Strange thing is that no alteration was made in my pc settings, last thing I was doing before disconnected was modifying some of the board permissions. Looking forward to your feedback.

Yes, this does sound like a host issue - so I'm marking this topic solved for now.
