Replying takes you out of that topic

How can i stop it when every time you reply to a post it takes you out of that topic? i would like to get it where when i reply to a topic instead of taking me back, it will keep me in the topic?

Profile - Look and Layout Preferences -  Return to topics after posting by default.

Thanks, but can you set that to have it default for everyone?

admin -> current theme -> member options
Configure guest and new user options for this theme
Change current options for all members using this theme
