I successfully installed and used this mod on my forum, but if I put a "big" category in one sub-forum, I get the following error when I try to access it:

Query execution was interrupted
File: [...]/Sources/Subs.php
Line: 3315

When I say "big", I mean with a lot of posts (approx. 30000). I can put many categories and forums, it will work as long as the post count is low enough -- at least that's what I deduced from the behaviour.

Any idea to fix this?

And mysqld uses, for a couple of minutes, 100% cpu every time you access that forum?

I found another issue: on sub-forums, some boards are reordered within their category. It seems to be a random order.

On the main forum, the order is correct (ie. the one that is defined in the admin panel).

Can you please let me know where the domain is determined (what file, what function, etc) so I can try to fix this issue.  Basically where it figures out what domain is used and where it decides what "sub forum" to use.

Domain NS servers are the same for both domains, DNS on both point to the same domain, in my Parallels Panel under moparnetwork.com (main domain) I have an alias of traildustercentral.com

I added new subforum in mod settings, created new subdomain in DirectAdmin but I can't figure it out why it doesn't work :|

Firt of all thank you very much for this great mod. I'm using the dedicated server (working with Apache) for my forum and I have only Web-Min panel but it has no "alias domain" option (or I couldnt found it). I tried lot of alias domain codes on httpd.config file but they didnt work correctly.

When I use that code, its not working like a subdomain. Its working as sub-directory like "domain.com/caravan" when I enter this adress on browser its going to mainforum with all categories and I log-out.

Mmmm, Im doing aliasing trough DNS alias... (on a linode VPS)... in the past I have tried aliasing with the httpd conf, but did not remember anything...
Have you read http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/mod/core.html#serveralias ?

hi,

I have another question, is the subforum categories lined but number?

exemple:

Cat 1
Cat 2
Cat 3

in the subforum I want:

Cat 3
Cat 1
Cat 2

How can I do this? I have 5 Categories and now I need a 6 on the top off all my subforum, but I cant it goes always to bottom, is there a way to put the new cat in the top?

Remember you can always move/sort the board into any category. So, you do not have to sort category that way. Category can alwaso be renamed, if necessary, to suit your needs. Just sort the boards according to the available category.

That is correct. If you need to change a category sequence you can do it in SMF Admin Setting but not PortaMX Subforum Mod. But that is one way of doing it.

You can also simply move the boards from one category to another to rearrange things.

yes thats what I've done, but is really difficult cuz I have like 100 categories and I needed to put a new categoric in the top and... well... it was a pain doing that lol

but ye its a excellent mod and I really love it

Also it doesn't work well with prettyURL
