[Theme] NightFell 1.0.5/1.1 beta 3

This is my first theme that gives your forum new layout features and options.

Live Demo

New Features-

Custom Copyright-
Allows you, from the admin panel, to insert your own string of copyright text below the SMF copyright. The original SMF copyright cannot be changed through this process

"Terms of Use" page-
Displays a link at the footer to a page displaying your registration agreement. You can enable or disable this feature.

Main Page link-
This allows you to display a link to your main site in the footer of the page via admincp. Just enter the Site name (ex: simplemachines) and the full url.

Header edit-
This allows you to edit the header image through admin cp. Just enter the full path to the image. You can disable this option. If disabled, the normal forum name text will be displayed.

I will get screenshots of the extra options soon. As well as the actual skin.

Wow, a very nice theme. I really like it.

The two things I would suggest are changing the box_bg.gif (Which is what is used for the top border of the headerbodies, as white doesn't seem to go quite right there).

I would also suggest changing the color of the input boxes to a dark blue so it matches with the rest of the theme, as right now it really seems bright.

the border? Yeah. Ive been putting it off. I took a different direction halfway through, and forgot to change it. It's not white, it's #CCCCCC

. But i definately do need to take it off.

Would you mind telling me how i can change the color of the input boxes?

ive edited it to make akabugeye's suggestions, it looks much better now. It will be availible soon, i just need to test it on another forum.

Looks better. But how about also changing the border color of the input boxes? It is still white and looks like it could use a darker color.

Well done Tippmaster just installed it on my theme and all working fine... one question why is the admin button at the bottom and not the top with the rest?

That's actually where it is placed in vB (other side thought) and in phpBB (centered).

Never used them, person who does my main forum has, the forum I installed it on I did myself. So I install all dark themes I can find ... my firend who does main forum went holiday and we ecountered a problem .. and I virtually screwed it up.. took him an hour to fix.. so I decdied id learn to run my own.

Looks very nice Tippmaster.
Sorta looks like what I am working on, although the theme I'm working on is dark grey and not blue.

Very nice theme.

I like the "metal" feel of it. One thing though..the input boxes, they need some sligtly lighter border or background, can't see where they are now.

And the buttons are original , great work cheese-burger.

Yeah, that probabally would look better....
I also forgot a new "new" image. So ill update it again when i have time.

Nice work!

I'm using this theme now, though I tweaked it a bit to go to w3 standards. Also I used different buttons as the mono tone was kind of hard to see for me.

EDIT: BTW, any want to change the highlight color w/o changing text color? The way the background is it's kind of hard to highlight since the colors are close in shade.

i think your right, never really though about it that way. Someone new to the software wouldnt just be able to guess where they are so easily. a lighter shade would be more fitting.

One thing I've noticed on this theme is the input window on the report to moderator screen is the same color font as the background.

Can someone tell me where I need to go to change the color of the text block when posting? Being the same color as the overall theme makes it very hard to see where to type. Great theme btw,very simple and nice looking.

Look for the Style CSS file in the theme folder. Look for the part that asks for the input text boxes and change the border color to whatever color you want
