I'm calling an HTML file to the top of my SMF forum.

Everything seems to work properly, except, when the HTML gets pulled into SMF it adopts some of the style and whatnot.

Also, I'd like to remove the old SMF header and just have the login/menu items below my HTML header.

How can I remove the color from my HTML header and how can I disable the default SMF header so that only the login/menu appears?

open the index.css of your theme
find
#header {
    background: url("../images/theme/header-large.png") no-repeat scroll 0 0 #C40000;
    padding-left: 22px;
}

change to
#header {
    display: none;
    background: url("../images/theme/header-large.png") no-repeat scroll 0 0 #C40000;
    padding-left: 22px;
}

That will hide the main menu too. It would be better to add display: none; to #top_section and #upper_section.

Clipping path is very simple method to remove background any images to use website,
catalog and news paper. Infinity Clipping Path provide clipping path, Clipping Mask,
logo design very reasonable prices.
