hello everybody

i'm trying to upgrade from 1. ( latest version, patch etc ) to the large upgrade 2.x

gettin stuck with this :

Updating Your SMF Install!
Your MySQL version does not meet the minimum requirements of SMF.

Please ask your host to upgrade.

All i know is : i have a class 6 database, and when i pop on myphpadmin it say :  phpMyAdmin - 2.11.11.3

I did a query like this : SELECT VERSION( ) ;  and there's the answer :  5.1.49-community-log

Any help/ tip please ?

Thanks in advance

Hi there, welcome to SMF!

Probably SMF thinks your MySQL version is outdated, as it states.
However, version 5.1.49 seems to be fine (take a look at Basic Server Requirements).

I'll grab you a copy where this check is removed.
