I finally got some time to work on this theme more. I have tweaked a few things and finished the board index.

Well other then what you stated and the extra titlebg under the catbg nothing... I am not looking to make a completely different board index.


I think you misunderstood what I meant by finished the board index...

By better I mean what I have done.....  What do you want from me a entirely redone board index...


I find how I have the board index setup now is a better then the default one..

Why not? There's a fair bit you can do to it with just css changes, and quite honestly I've always thought the default was not that great. Not that there's anything really wrong with what you've done, but just as one example: on smaller screens (phones and tablets) the default index gets very cluttered. If you put in a media query to hide the stats cell on smaller screens, that gets rid of a lot of clutter without really losing any useful information.

Well I thank you for your input, I am happy with what I have done. I may have play around with that on a new theme.


As for your cell phone example I wouldn't know enough about php or queries to do that.

The only reason I learned php to start with was because I thought 1.1.x templates were so bad that I couldn't stand looking at them.

Should try another thing with the menu, I don't feel it like "fine"
Maybe text-shadow?

Also I'm waiting for a demo, looks very nice as I said
