Help me on removing links

Good day all
Please i use website analyzer and found out that i have 250 links on a page and according to google, i should not have more than 100 links on a page.

what will i do cos i have many many posts (12k) on my forum and i cannot trace theme one after the other. is there any mod to set a number of links "follow link" , after that .others will be "nofollow"   or any way to even remove all the links automatically. because i noticed by ranks has been dropping and my search engine also drooping.

Please what mod should i use because majority of all the links were added by me ( ADMIN) . THANKS

You could cut down on the number of links per page, by only allowing a certain number of posts to be shown, per page, perhaps?

If you go to Admin>Posts and Topics>Topic Settings

you can limit the "Number of topics per page in the message index" and "Number of posts per page in a topic page".

That would cut down on the number of links per page.

Might be bloody annoying for your users, though.

i cannot trace the page right now. there are so many link on these topics ...new,celebrity news, health new. the fact is that i cannot make it by counting them one by one. is there any easy way?? i wish to leave the posts as they are. all i need is to remove links or kinda "nofollow"

why would you ever have H1 links in the linktree?   That has got to be one of the more bizarre things I have seen in a while.

Not really - the idea that it puts the title of the site and the content as being H1 links. Except that it's not important any more - it was important *years* ago.

He's absolutely correct, too.

Well, mod 1 will give you issues.

Also, have less topics per page - right now you have it at 20 topics per page. All of the pages you quoted are board listings, dropping that to 15 would mostly solve that problem.

I don't see anything in that mod list that would particularly cause extra links on the messageindex pages...
