Hey !!! It works beautifully... it was because of "Local" board permissions.

I need to change it manually for 2 boards that had local permissions for regular members and now it works like a charm!!! COOL MOD!!!

Any word when this mod will be updated for RC2?

Teknomancer

I got this to work on RC2 ... but the Admin panel settings are not installed properly.

The theme has hardcoded /Themes/default and is not using {themedir} variable.

Um, so what did you do to get it to work? Manually edit the Admin panel php file? Or was there more to it?

Uninstall your existing Spoiler Tag. Then edit the Spoiler tag zip file/targz file and search for "1.1 RC1" or something. Replace it with 1.1 RC2 and then install it again (I think the replace should be done in some  ".xml").

It works perfectly on my RC2, only thing is I no longer get the Admin panel controls for Spoiler tag (eg choosing button/link etc.) but the tags work fine on my forum (existing tags as well as newly added spoilers). Users can click/hide and post them.

Ah! Hadn't thought to 'hack' the version check. Ta-Dah!

Thanks...  ;D

With no admin control does it use all the options or which does it use ?

There's a Ferret

Managed to install it in RC2. Is there a way to have spoiler-related permissions listed in reports?

I also prepared a localization file for my mother tongue language (italian), but it looks to me like the localization files are lagging behind the actual development of the package (i.e. I manually modified the language files on my forum and that's been more work than just the few lines I have to copy'n'paste in italian.xml)

In my forum I used to have it set to "Link" and not the Button type of spioiler... and its continuing that way. so its showing spoilers as links (which is the way I like it too) :D

Odd. Uninstalled it. Made the changes and it still complains and will not install.

I had this error when I installed it manually (the automatic package install didn't worked for me this time; every time I tried, it showed me the error message: can't load template 'ftp_required') :

Warning: Unexpected character in input: ' in /home/utakinet/public_html/foros/Sources/Subs.php(2108) : eval()'d code on line 1

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/utakinet/public_html/foros/Sources/Subs.php(2108) : eval()'d code on line 1

I couldn't figure out what was this mistake, could you guys help me, please?

HI I tried to install this mod and it said there was an error and the file must be corrupted.

QuoteAn Error Has Occurred!
The package you tried to upload either is not a valid package or has become corrupted.

I downloaded version 0.1.7 as I am using 1.1 beta 3 public but it didnt work

any ideas?

I also would like to use it on SMF 1.1 RC2  :-\

Patrol

I followed the tip about changing RC1 to RC2 in the .xml sourcecodes and tried to install the spoiler tags then. The installation worked fine except for one error message. It was about a file named Error.English.php or something like that (sorry, i forgot to copy & paste, I know I shouldn't take three tasks at once). I'll look it up and post it, as soon as possible. I thought this will help others a bit, you are asking for an update of this mod.

The file if it is corrupt, try to make the .zip file as a.tar.gz and try again. That usually works for me.

Also try the 1.1 RC1 to 1.1RC2 thing in the ".xml" files of the package.

But BE SURE that the old spoiler tag has been removed completely.
