Error al convertir sistema de foro

Un cordial saludo.

Poseo un foro phpbb3, y decidi unirme a SMF, seguí los pasos para su conversión pero me encontré con el siguiente error justo en el ultimo paso:

The converter detected that your host has open_basedir enabled on this server. Please ask your host to disable this setting or try moving the contents of your phpBB3 to the public html folder of your site.

Alguna forma de solucionarlo?

Bueno ahí mismo te lo dice. Habla con tu hosting al respecto o mueve el contenido al publi_html y después corre el reppair settings para corregir las rutas. Todo debería funcionar

Muchas gracias, ya resolví el problema, tuve que cambiar de host por que al parecer no daba soporte, anyway, ahora tengo el siguiente mensaje:

Sorry, the database connection information used in the specified installation of SMF cannot access the installation of phpBB3. This may either mean that the installation doesn't exist, or that the Database account used does not have permissions to access it.

The error that was received from the Database was: SELECT command denied to user 'u473554989_smfad'@'10.1.2.23' for table 'phpbb_users'

que puedo hacer?

Al momento de crear el usuario en la base de datos "u473554989_smfad'@'10.1.2.23" al parecer no le dieron todos los permisos. Si lo creaste tú, dale todos los permisos o sino, pídele a tu nuevo hosting que lo haga

La base de datos y el usuario fueron creados por mi. ¿Como hago para darle los permisos?

Muchas gracias por el link, pero no doy con la opción de "Añadir Usuario a Base de Datos". Alguien sabe como editar los permisos en el host nixiweb?
