Great work. So far, I like Cadish's brown ones best... especially if they would be available in different colors.

I actually think the brown is very good, just the right "counterpoint" (I'm sure I just made that word up ...) to the "cold" machines theme, I just realized it wouldn't fit my colors. But then, almost no color does. (I'm using midnightblue, navy, and darkslateblue, but I'm thinking about revamping the site to more neutral colors anyway.)

Oh, and to clarify about the font in Piranha's banners, I associate those with right-wing extremism (because these groups tend to use them), but maybe it's just me.

PS: Cadish, I just realized the brown banner would fit in quite nicely to my wbb board

(which is mostly... several shades of grey, plus the category bg's are 990000)

I can make it 21KB in jpeg, but then the quality is aweful

Ok, I've made my .gif in 64 colors, instead of 256, and it's a bit smaller now.
